This small booklet records 27 medals as awarded to the RAN, Australian Army and RAAF since the 1901 Federation of the Australian Colonies into the Commonwealth of Australia. The quality of the paper is excellent, whilst the photographic reproduction is superb. The booklet records the former British Commonwealth Cadet Forces Medal and the Australian Cadet Forces Service Medal, which came into use 24 years after the Australian Labour Government disposed of it.
It strangely records only the Champion Shots Medal that came into use in 1988, yet none of its predecessors? Also recorded is the bizarre Anniversary of National Service 1951-1972 Medal. Just for the photos alone it is worth the small price. (See website: www.noie.gov.au/ projects for details).
Available from Australian Information Shops. 32 pages.
