Battle for Milne Bay
Brian Boettcher will speak on the Battle for Milne Bay, involving Australian Soldiers, Navy and Airforce.
Brian is a well known Naval and Military historian, criminologist and forensic scientist. He has extensively studied this action in which the Japanese for the first time during the Pacific Conflict were forced to “advance to the rear” and give up their hold on strategically important Milne Bay.
