July 2015 ADV Cape Byron was loaned to the RAN for 2 years by the Australian Border Force

725 Squadron commissioned to fly MH-60R helicopters

December 18, 2014

HMAS Bundaberg was decommissioned, as beyond repair, after a fire in August 2014

November 28, 2014

HMAS Canberra III, lead ship of the Canberra class Amphibious Assault Ship (LHD), commissioned.

November 20, 2014

HMA Ships Tarakan, Labuan and Brunei were decommissioned . In July 2015 Tarakan and Brunei were gifted to The Philippines.
