Could I just place in writing my compliments to all associated with the June 1990 – Gallipoli Commemorative Issue – of NHR just received.
It makes for damned good reading all the way through and NHR seems to be getting just better and better. Extremely pleasing, too, was the advertising content that the issue carried – reflective of the value some of the big corporations place in promoting themselves via the pages of NHR.
Please be assured I say that not simply because I was lucky enough to have representation in the issue with a couple of articles – highly pleasing though that is especially in terms of feeling they represent some Victoria Chapter support. But, more especially I say it all as one who knows the behind the scenes work that lies in the planning and production of such a magazine – its balance and its cover treatment, etc.
The best accolade lies in the fact that NHR preserves for ever so much naval history – and makes for damned good reading in the process. Full marks to everyone concerned, from one who enjoys out of interest, just what you do with the magazine.
